This Refunds & Returns Policy applies to purchases made through Battle Nexus The Hobby Centre Ltd
(www.battlenexusthehobbycentre.co.uk) ("we", "us", "our"). It explains your rights for online purchases and
in-store purchases separately and is designed to comply with UK consumer law, including the Consumer
Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges)
Regulations 2013.

ONLINE PURCHASES

(Website, phone & other distance sales)

1. Right to Cancel (Change of Mind)

If you purchase goods online, by phone, or by mail order, you have the legal right to cancel your order
within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you receive the goods.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision in a clear statement (for
example, by email or contact form).
You may use the model cancellation form at the end of this policy, but it is not required.

2. Online Returns

You must return the goods to us within 14 days of notifying us that you wish to cancel.
Goods should be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging, where reasonably
possible.
You are responsible for the cost of return postage, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly
supplied.

We recommend using a tracked service, as you are responsible for the goods until they reach us.

3. Online Refunds

We will issue your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof that they have been sent back.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless agreed otherwise.
Standard delivery costs will be refunded (the cheapest standard delivery option offered at checkout).
Premium delivery upgrades are non‐refundable.

We may reduce your refund if the value of the goods has been diminished by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

IN‐STORE PURCHASES

(Physical shop sales)

4. Change‐of‐Mind Returns (In‐Store)

For items purchased in store, there is no automatic legal right to return goods simply because you
have changed your mind.
Any refunds or exchanges for change‐of‐mind purchases made in store are offered at our discretion and are
subject to our in‐store returns policy.

5. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items (In‐Store Purchases)

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory
quality.
If an item purchased in store is faulty, damaged, or incorrect:

Please return the item with proof of purchase
You are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement, depending on the circumstances

If a fault is reported within 30 days of purchase, you are usually entitled to a full refund.

6. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items (General)

If any item (whether bought online or in store) is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as
soon as possible with your order details.
We will cover reasonable return postage costs for faulty or incorrect items.

7. Non‐Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty:

Personalised or custom‐made items
Perishable goods (for example, food or flowers)
Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed
Digital content once downloaded or streamed

This does not affect your statutory rights.

8. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return your original purchase for a refund and place a new order.
